Our Story

Għaqda Sidien Boathouses-Ramlet Il-Qortin is a non-profit association established with the purpose of representing, supporting, and uniting individuals connected to the historic Ramlet Il-Qortin boathouse community in Malta. The association recognizes the important cultural and social role that traditional coastal structures play in preserving the island’s maritime identity and strengthening community relationships.

Our organization serves as a collective voice for boathouse owners and stakeholders, promoting responsible management, environmental awareness, heritage protection, and constructive dialogue with local authorities and community partners.

We believe that coastal heritage is not only about preserving buildings and physical spaces but also about protecting the memories, traditions, skills, and stories that have been passed down through generations.
